Former Nigeria goalkeeper cries out, resigns after being paid N75,000 monthly

Former Nigerian goalkeeper Ambruse Vanzekin resigned from his position as the goalkeeper trainer at Bendel Insurance, citing unfair treatment.

He revealed that he had been receiving a meager salary of N75,000 (less than $100) per month for three years, despite his achievements, including winning a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics.

Vanzekin had been with Bendel Insurance for four seasons but felt underpaid compared to others earning N300,000 to N400,000.

He has not returned to training since submitting his resignation letter. 🇳🇬
