Declares interest in Akoko South West LGA Chairmanship race.

The former Senior Special Assistance to former Speaker House of Rep Hon.segun olukoju ( Opomulero ), has solicited support of the people of Akoko south west LGA towards the election of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the 16th of November, 2024.

while describing Governor Aiyedatiwa, he eulogised the Governor and described him as a visionary leader that has good plans for the State, judging from his laudable and remarkable achievements in few months in office

In a statement released to adelekereporters onOnline news also made the intention of Hon. Segun Olukoju to vie for the local government chairmanship position in the election slated for the 18th of January, 2024, known.

According to Adelekereporters online news Hon.Segun Olukoju ambition was borne out of his strong desire and determination to effect a positive change in the local government administration, as the closest arm of government to the people he hinged on grassroots development.

He calls for the support of all the party leaders and members in the local government area in ensuring that Hon.Segun Olukoju secures the party’s ticket at the primaries.

In his words,, “He who wears the shoes knows where it pinches. Hon. Segun Olukoju, an indigene of Oka had traversed the nooks and crannies of the local government area during electioneering campaign on several occasions and as such, he’s very familiar with the local government terrain and he knows the various challenges faced by the different communities in the local government area” and by the virtue of experience, Hon.Segun Olukoju possess all the prerequisite to change the ugly narrative of about Akoko south west Local Government and fully prepared to provide lasting solutions to lingering issues ranging from insecurity, economic deficit, quality Education and empowerment for grassrooters.
