A Frontline and one of the pioneer Tinubu Support Groups, The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, BATSV, has reiterated it’s resolve to ensure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, gets the maximum support of all Nigerians to deliver the goods to its teeming populace. Speaking through its Global Chairman, Nigeria and Diaspora, Amb. Dr. Dare Owotomobi,

The group said that over the five years that it has sacrificed its time, energy, finances and material support to make sure the Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency comes to fruition, it has never taken a dime from its principal or his associates. He said this is a supreme sacrifice that the group has paid for the progress of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.Dr. Owotomobi further states that the group remains one of the largest and strongest political vessels to have conveyed the Renewed Hope Ideology to Nigerians.

However, the Global Chairman said that despite his globetrotting, all these years, to drum up support for Asiwaju on behalf of BATSV, his struggles are yet to be rewarded in order for the group to have the desired trickle down effect. It would be recalled that the same fate bedeviled Asiwaju during the Buhari regime, when after risking his life to ensure he was elected, he was relegated to the back seat and it only took Aisha Buhari’s cries for him to be reckoned with.

Dr. Owotomobi therefore states that the group has resolved to reactivate and rejig its activities for effective campaign by kick-starting its 2027 programme. He said that he sympathizes with the President because he has been caged by those that were not with him when the chips were down but have now successfully gate-crashed into the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock. That he is not deterred nor discouraged despite the fact that those that have couried government patronages did not put up 5% of what BATSV did.

Similarly, Ambassador Dr Dare Owotomobi states that Hon. Faleke of TSG and Aminu Suleiman of TSO would have been consigned to the dustbin of history if Faleke had not won election into the House of Representatives. In the same manner, even regional group leaders like Senator Dayo Adeyeye of SWAGA, Hamma Dikko of the Northern Support, etc are not only supposed to have been patronized with political appointments, but they should have also presented names of their foot soldiers, both men and women, to benefit from the political appointment largesse.

In the area of women empowerment, he reiterated that the Minister of Women Development, Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye has demonstrated her readiness and capacity to fight for gender fitness and equality, hence the need for her to be adequately equipped and empowered to bring the womenfolk out of the present economic quagmire.

On the other hand, he said, the economic team of Wale Edun, Yemi Cardoso and Zaccheus Adedeji who are round pegs in round wholes should understand that economic development cannot be enhanced through taxation alone, but also through rapid production of goods and services, hence they should into establishing cottage industries, mechanized farming, encouragement of establishment of factories through local and foreign investors. This, in turn, he said will discourage importation, fortify our local currency, drive the economy positively thereby encouraging taxation and raising our GDP.
The solid minerals ministry, he also said, is undergoing serious challenges of basic fundamental foundation, hence Dele Alake should step up his determination and be ready to step on toes of both the internal and external detractors in this regard. so far,Nigeria and Nigerians would be better for it , if the restructuring is holistically carried out.

Dr. Owotomobi once more congratulates Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and his team as they navigate the second year of the Renewed Hope Mandate.
