Urge the president to bring back our kind hearted, dutiful minister, Hon.Dr Betta Edu, who was asked to step aside some months ago to be investigated Inrespect of some issues.

Ever since she was suspended from her position, the office of the ministry of humanitarian remained vacant. This alludes to a fair, equitable and accountable leadership that acts justiciably.

We recall her unhindered commitment and passionate attitude towards her work, humanitarian intervention to the good people of the country, especially, to those in the rural and indeed, the urban areas.

Her programs, which straddle the 36 states of the country, include, End hunger programme, conditional cash transfer, N-power, Renewed hope shelters program, GEEP programme for the physically challenged persons, humanitarian challenges, trader monie, grant for vulnarables.

We urge that Hon. Dr Betta Edu should be reinstated, especially, during this economic downturn
