Pandemon!um in Ondo as Soldiers k!lls trader over payment issue

Traders along Arakale Road at Mobil area are protesting the stabbing to death of one of them by unknown soldiers.

They said some unknown men in Army uniform soldiers carried out the wicked act as one of the soldiers mobilized his colleagues to forcefully recollect money he had paid for a service due to a little argument.

The fracas led to the stabbing of one of the traders which led to his death.

Speaking with newsmen, one of the traders said the said soldiers beat the involved trader and his family into coma as one of them was stabbed to death.

The Arakale axis of the road was brought to standstill as the aggrieved traders blocked the road.

Commuters were stranded by this action as they found it difficult to do their businesses.

Policemen were on ground to ensure that the issue did not escalate beyond expectations.

The divisional Police officer who was on ground said he could not speak to Radio Nigeria until he was ordered to do so.
