The judgement by the three-man panel, ordering the withdrawal of certificateof return which INEC presented to Governor Yusuf and directed a certificate of return to be issued to Nasiru Gawuna reaffirms our believes that our judicialsystem is working effectively to uphold the principles of justice and fairness inour democracy.

This court victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in kano is not just a winfor our party but a triumph for democracy itself. It demonstrates the strength ofour democratic institutions and the importance of upholding the people’s choicein a fair and just manner.
