Inauguration of LACO-FS Akure South : A Celebration of Unity and Vision

Today marked a significant milestone in the political landscape of Akure South Local Government as the State leadership of The Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot Soldiers (LACO-FS) was fully represented at the inauguration of its local government chapter. The event, held with grandeur at Mega school Hall, along hospital road Akure, witnessed the esteemed presence of notable leaders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the region.

Among the distinguished at the inauguration includes: state working Exco of LACO under the convenership of Hon. Carry Go, Hon. Kenneth Odusola the Chairman of LACO, Hon. Fadairo Dennis the former director of administration to former Senate President, Hon. Mrs Ademosun, Hon. Omowunmi Olatunji, Local government, wards and units Exco of LACO in Akure South local government.

Leading the state leadership of LACO-FS were Hon. Oladipipo Okeyomi, the Convener, and Hon. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, the Director-General. The Convener, Hon. Okeyomi in his speech said LACO-FS is an Independent Campaign Organisation cutting across all the 18 local government areas of Ondo State with a vision to seize this moment that fate had thrust up a visionary, purposeful and responsible leader in the person of Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, to help him get the next mandate to work more for Ondo State.
The LACO-FS Director-General, Hon. Ogunleye, brimming with optimism and enthusiasm, addressed the massive gathering, assuring them of the commitment to good governance under the leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa. He highlighted ongoing efforts to alleviate the economic challenges faced by the people through the implementation of palliative measures.

A notable leader of the party in the state who is the Director General of LACO in local government, Hon. Fadairo Dennis known for his deft political moves, while affirming his unwavering loyalty to the late Governor Akeredolu, unequivocally endorsed Governor Aiyedatiwa’s candidacy. Drawing from his experience as a former Director of Administration to the former Senate President of Nigeria, Hon. Fadairo extolled the virtues and leadership qualities of Governor Aiyedatiwa, emphasizing his integrity and proven track record as Deputy Governor, Acting Governor, and now Governor, he however advised all the members to get their party card ready for the forthcoming primary election.

Expressing gratitude for the dignitaries in attendance, Hon. Fadairo lauded their credibility, reliability, and principled stance, contrasting them with leaders lacking in these attributes. He underscored his support for Governor Aiyedatiwa’s continued tenure beyond 2025, citing assurances to complete ongoing projects initiated by the late Governor Akeredolu and strengthen party structures across the state.

Hon. Fadairo echoed the sentiment of empowerment, declaring a new dawn for the youth in Ondo State under Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration. He pledged to uphold the trust vested in him by the people, ensuring their voices are heard and needs addressed.
