…Promises more impactful Projects for Anambra North.

Aguleri- The Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District , Senator Dr Tony Nwoye has completed and donated Tech Innovation and Computer Hub Building to Aguleri Community in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Senator Tony Nwoye described the Innovation centre as a befitting infrastructure for skills acquisition and empowerment for the youths with positive knock-on effects on socio-economic upliftment for the people of Anambra North Senatorial Zone and residents of the state. The Senator said that a lot of Our Young people have certificates, many of them do not have skills. Skill is very important.

“We have a global economic meltdown but there are jobs out there but only that many do not have the skills to do these jobs. That is where this Innovation and Tech Centre comes in”.

The hub is meant to train young people in the latest technological innovations. We will equip the centre with modern ICT equipment and I can tell you that those that will be trained and passed through this hub, it will be free of charge. That is our own contribution to the society.

Dr Tony Nwoye while commending the Aguleri Community for their support for the project; urged the community to protect the buildings from vandalism and other forms of destruction.

“This project belongs to you, as a community, you must do everything within your powers to protect the facility against vandalism and destruction”.

Speaking further, Dr Nwoye informed that similar projects are ongoing in Okpoko in Ogbaru Local Government Area with other projects in various communities in Anambra North Senatorial District, saying that he will continue to attract more impactful Projects for the good people of Anambra North Senatorial District.

While outlining the benefits of the Innovation Hub, the Aguleri Youth President, Comrade Cornelius Emeka Chinwuba praised the senator for his foresightedness and magnanimity as the center will help to prepare youths for the modern world.

“This is an outstanding project with focus on bringing out the best from constituents, drive economic activity, empower the youth and make them self-reliant, therefore we appreciate Sen. Dr. Tony Nwoye for this giant stride in serving humanity. Posterity will be kind to him”.

A major Stakeholder in Aguleri, Dr Innocent Okonkwo said: “It is our young people that drive innovation and growth. We have to engage and empower them to be able to do this driving. Numerous people are doing amazing things.

“It is what these people are doing that will drive innovation in our community. That is why The Innovation Centre is special and first of its kind in our Community. Young people in Aguleri and Anambra North will start to build solutions on Aguleri and Anambra North.”
