Ganduje: No vacancy in Buhari House, APC spokesman tells ex-Gov Bello

National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Felix Morka has asked the immediate-past Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to allow the Dr Abdullahi Ganduje-led National Working Committee NWC focus on strengthening the party, rather than distracting it with posters of himself vying for National Chairman of the party.

Bello’s posters were on Monday seen in some sections of Abuja, indicating his interest in occupying the top job in the party.

There had been rumours of discontent among some North Central leaders of the party who are reportedly still miffed that the office of the national chairman of the party which is zoned to the area is currently being occupied by someone from the North West.

Following the forced exit of Abdullahi Adamu from Nasarawa state (North Central) last August, he was immediately replaced by Abdullahi Ganduje from Kano (North West).

While Bello has not declared such ambition, Morka said there was no vacancy in the APC national secretariat, and affirmed the loyalty of the NWC to Dr Ganduje.
