December Brings Hope, Peace, and Divine Protection-Dr. Betta Edu Declares
As we enter this special season, Christians around the world reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ, the embodiment of love, peace, and redemption.
December renews our hope in God’s unfailing mercy and His call for humanity to walk in unity, compassion, and righteousness.
Scripture declares: “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given…” (Isaiah 9:6). This timeless message reminds us that no darkness can overcome the light God has given to the world.
Beyond its spiritual meaning, December inspires universal values of giving, gratitude, reconciliation, and shared joy. It is a global reminder that love remains humanity’s highest calling.
Despite the challenges we face as individuals and as a nation, we take comfort in God’s promise: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19).
God is not done with us, and His plans for Nigeria are greater than our present trials.
As we step into this sacred month, I offer special prayers for our leadership, especially Mr. President. May God grant him divine wisdom, protection, and the strength to guide Nigeria toward peace, unity, and prosperity.
May he be surrounded by people of vision and compassion.Nigeria is a blessed nation, rich in spirit, resilient in hope, and destined for greatness.
May the blessings of salvation, peace, and divine protection rest upon every home.
May December bring renewed faith, restored strength, and abundant testimonies to all Nigerians.
