EFCC invites former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, over corruption allegations
In 2023, the EFCC was reported to be investigating five suspicious transactions during Malami’s time as Attorney-General of the Federation. The five transactions are:

4.The strange agreement to pay Sunrise Power $200 million compensation in its dispute with the FG over the Mambilla power project.
5.The duplicated legal fees in the transfer of $321 million Abacha loot from Switzerland to Nigeria.
