Drama as Suspected Criminal Attempts to H∆ck Amotekun Operatives to Evade Arrest
There was a dramatic scene recently as a suspected criminal reportedly attempted to hack members of the Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun, during an operation to apprehend him.
According to eyewitness accounts, the suspect, who was said to have been involved in a series of criminal activities in the area, fiercely resisted arrest when operatives of Amotekun stormed his hideout. In a desperate attempt to escape, he allegedly wielded a machete and charged at the officers, resulting in a tense confrontation.
The security operatives, however, acted swiftly to disarm and subdue the suspect, preventing what could have been a tragic incident. The suspect was later handcuffed and taken into custody for further investigation.
A source within the Amotekun Corps disclosed that the suspect had been on their watchlist for weeks due to his alleged involvement in burglary, theft, and attacks on innocent residents.
Speaking on the incident, the Commander of Amotekun in the state (if applicable—can be updated when official statement is available) commended his men for their professionalism and bravery during the operation. He reiterated that the Corps remains committed to ensuring the safety of all residents and will continue to go after criminals, no matter how daring they may be.
He also warned other criminal elements to desist from unlawful activities, emphasizing that the days of lawlessness in the state are over.
The suspect is expected to be handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for further interrogation and possible prosecution.
