Chairman Owolabi Extends Congratulations to Oba Samuel Agboola on “Idebi Oba” Anniversary
The Executive Chairman of Akoko Northwest Local Government Area, Hon. Esan John Owolabi, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Oba Samuel Agboola, the Onirun of Irun Kingdom, on the celebration of his “Idebi Oba” anniversary taking place today, Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Chairman Owolabi expressed delight that this significant milestone coincides with his tenure as Executive Chairman, describing it as a good omen for the continued growth and development of Irun Kingdom.
He highlighted his administration’s developmental strides within the community, including the construction of the Ubalo Bridge, installation of solar-powered streetlights, and creation of employment opportunities for the youth. Owolabi further assured residents that more people-oriented projects are in the pipeline, reaffirming his commitment to the kingdom’s progress.
The Chairman lauded Oba Agboola as a monarch devoted to peace, unity, and community development, noting his unwavering dedication and diligence in service to his people. He called on the entire Irun community to rally behind the royal father and continue to support government initiatives—particularly the “Our Ease” agenda championed by Governor Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
