The 59th Birthday Ceremony of Ambassador (Dr) Adewale Adeogun, Jagadan Arewa, Ogun State Session took place on 5th January 2024 at NUD Grammar School, Obantoko, Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The occasion witnessed the Presence and Representation of who is who in Nigeria in General and Ogun State in particular.
Among the Guests of Honor include the representative of Ogun State commissioner of Police ASP Olukayode Oparanti, the ANCOPSS Chairman Alhaji Hamed Bolaji, NUT chairman Comrade Gboyega Bakenne, Mrs Adeyinka Coordinator of a National support Group on Nigeria and Diaspora, Representative of Ogun State LOC Chairman of the National Sports Festival Mr Bukola Olopade who arrived from US for the program among many others.
Various interest and Support Groups , PTA , Political associates , games Masters and Mistress’s association , benefiting students and pupils in their large numbers witnessed the occasion.
Highlights of the program include the presentation of Trophies, Football and Sports Jessy to selected schools and Associations.
In his address, the celebrant in his characteristic philanthropism appreciated the well wishers and promised to continue the exercise to mark his Birthday. Noting that his zeal to give back to humanity is apolitical and non selfishness but to encourage and Renew the hope of the people that the future is rewarding and beneficial. He assured the entire gathering that President Bola Hammed Tinubu meant well for Nigeria and Nigerians . He admonished them to be prayerful, steadfast and hopeful on PBAT to fix Nigeria.
Encomiums and Goodwill messages were offered by dignitaries on ground where they implored Ambassador Adeogun to remain steadfast and sustain the feat of the philanthropism.
Special prayers were offered for the celebrant and the entire country.
Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) equally covered the event garnished with music and pagentary.
The Celebrant who said the Event which is the 14th Edition is to thank Almighty God for sparing his Life and also use the occasion to Appreciate his Family, Friends, Fans, Colleagues, Professional and Political Associates. He said this year’s Edition which was meant to be low keyed because of the mood in the country was however turned into a Carnival by well wishers. He prayed for Nigeria and Nigerians under our Dear President.
Awards were presented to the Celebrant by various Groups and Associations among several encomiums.
